Mrs. Ella Day of Carbonear, who passed away peacefully at the Interfaith Citizens Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Mrs. Day was 80 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family: Daughters: Monica (Wince) Parsons, Joan (Willis) Pike & Sandra Noel (Robert Watson); Sons: John (Gail Yetman) Day & Michael Day; 11 Grand Children & 14 Great Grand Children; Sisters: Shirley (Robert) Batten & Mary Power; Brother: Mike Butt; Sisters-In-Law: Alice White and Gertrude Day; Brothers-In-Law: Charles Day and George Day. Predeceased By: Husband: John Day; Parents: Mike and Mary Butt; Brother: Kevin Butt Sister: Dorothy Noseworthy; Son-In-Law: Bernard Cardwell; Brothers-In-Law: Albert Power & Milton Noseworthy; Sister-In-Law: Lorna Butt; Parents-In-Law: Charles & Violet Day; Niece Rose Mary Power.
The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church and Cemetery, Carbonear, on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 10:30 A.M.
The Family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE’S FUNERAL HOME POWELL DRIVE, CARBONEAR between the hours Wednesday: 8 - 9:30 P.M. and Thursday & Friday 2 - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m..
